As warmer weather approaches so does beer appreciation season, and there is a lot to appreciate this spring at the Near West Side. We've just received Bell's Oberon and its Lager Of The Lakes, as well...slightly sweet and crisp with a little hop spice finish. Look, too, for a special on Brooklyn Beer 12 pack samplers featuring their Penant Ale '55 , Lager, Brown and their India Pale Ale.
But the big news for April from the beer aisle is the eminent arrival of New Belgium Brewing's Fat Tire Ale from Fort Collins Colorado.
Beer drinkers in Indiana have been waiting for years for this favorite to be available here, and we should have it sometime during the week of April 20th.
Also just in time for spring, we have a variety of bock beers, a traditional German style brewed in celebration of the season. Maybe the best of the German bocks is Ayinger Celebrator . Look for singles and four packs. We also have Lakefront Bock and, of course, Upland Brewing's annual Maibock has arrived.
