The class covers which trees respond best to a fall planting and which ones don't. A team of orchard educators teach you how to choose cultivars best adapted for their growing conditions and best suited for their needs.

FRESH FROM THE MARKET 'EAST MEETS WEST' COOKING CLASS

Sunday, August 26, 4-6:30pm

The Farmers’ Market is bursting with colors and veggies that don’t require much tempering to be flavorful and tasty. Join Peilin Chiu in her home kitchen to prepare a delicious 'East Meets West' Asian fusion meal celebrating the abundance of local food. Learn to cook it, then share the meal with other participants.

*Fresh from the market salad with herbal dressing, using the freshest seasonal ingredients
