Our Community Local Events It Was a Beautiful Day for Tuesday Market

September 4, 2012: Counting down, there are just four more Tuesday Markets in the 2012 season! That's four more opportunities to buy fresh, local foods at the Bloomington mid-week farmers' market next to our NWS store, before it winds down on the last Tuesday in September. This week, Jim Ansaldo is playing acoustic musicon guitar under the entertainment tent from 5-6:30pm.

New items this week are frozen chicken and lemongrass. Pears, yarn, and seeds should now be available in addition to: apples, Asian pears, bay leaves, beets, blackberries, broccoli, butternut squash, cabbage, cantaloupe, carrots, cucumbers, eggplant, flower bouquets, garlic, green beans, herbs, honey, jams and jellies, kale, onions, peaches, peppers, plums, popsicles, potatoes, radishes, raspberries, rutabaga, soap, summer squash, sweet corn, tomatoes, turnips, watermelons and more.

Bloomingfoods also serves cold beverages and popsicles from our stall at Tuesday Market. We hope to see you there—at 6th and Madison, next to Bloomingfoods Near West Side, from 4-7pm.
