Since 1976, working alongside and supporting local producers, businesses, non-profits, and community members has been the name of the game at the co-op. We’re proud to host a number of programs aimed at sustaining the robust local community that exists in Bloomington and South Central Indiana!
Cooperative Principle #7 - Concern for Community:
Cooperatives work for the sustainable development of their communities through policies approved by their members.
Through our Positive Change register round up program, we give our shoppers an easy avenue to raise money for local non-profits. We support local artists with our art gallery, Gallery B, at our Near West store. In an effort to expand access to quality, healthful food, we offer our Bloomingfoods for All discount program as well as our twice-weekly $3 Community Dinners. We lift up local businesses while providing our owner-members a special benefit with our Community Partner Program.
