Beacon is a solutions-driven, anti-poverty organization dedicated to aiding and empowering people experiencing extreme poverty, especially hunger and homelessness. It has six major programs which together help people in poverty not only survive but thrive: Shalom Center, Phil's Kitchen, Friend's Place, Street Outreach, Rapid Rehousing, and Crawford Homes. Through these six programs, Beacon provides services to hundreds of people each day and thousands each year. Proceeds from Positive Change will fund its work to feed, shelter, and find permanent homes for people experiencing homelessness.
