Join us Wednesday, April 22nd, through Saturday, May 9th, in celebrating Earth Day & Fair Trade Day and encourage everyone to make every day Earth Day and create a higher demand for sustainable and ethically sourced goods!
We will be giving away a brand new bike, in partnership with Revolution Bike & Bean, and a large Fair Trade basket filled with Fair Trade, local, and environmentally friendly products! There will also be special promotions–20% off bulk when you bring your own reusable container on Earth Day and April 23rd, double your Bloomingfoods for Earth rewards stamps on Earth Day, and 20% off all Fair Trade products on Fair Trade Day–and events!
Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22nd, Discardia will be leading a Mending Rescues Clothes from the Landfill demonstration at our Near West store, and there will be environmental education activities led by local organizations at both of our stores!
Arbor Day, Saturday, April 25th, stop by either of our stores for a Native Tree Giveaway with Sycamore Land Trust!
Saturday, May 2nd, stop by our East store for a Spring Plant Sale in partnership with Sycamore Land Trust and our Near West store for an Eco-Print Pop-in Workshop with Maria Schechter!
Sunday, May 3rd, join local Beekeeper, Jeff Becker, at our East store for a Beekeeping Workshop for Beginners–RSVP required!
Fair Trade Day, Saturday, May 9th, get free minor bike repairs at Revolution Bike & Bean Pop-up Bike Repair Shop at our Near West store, and join us on a Local Farm Tour at Sungate Farm to learn all about their sustainable farming practices–RSVP required!
