2020 has been quite the year to remember! One thing I believe we should be proud of as a co-op is how we have adapted and thrived in these very challenging times. Congratulations to our staff and leadership team, and thank you to all of our customers and Owner-Members for continuing to support our local food co-op.
One of the most important times of the year for Bloomingfoods is the election of new board members. I am excited about our slate of 5 candidates. Like the many things COVID-19 has changed in our daily lives, it also alters our upcoming Meet the Candidates events. Due to the need for physical distancing, we will hold our Meet the Candidates events virtually.
Wednesday, September 16th, and Monday, September 21st from 7-7:40 pm.
We will host Zoom Virtual meeting spaces to give Owner-Members an opportunity to meet each of the candidates and ask any questions they may have.
Your participation in the elections for the Co-Op is always important and this year is no different. This past year Bloomingfoods has made great strides and we want to continue this positive momentum. To do so it is vital that we have a strong Board of Directors.
